Subject: makeing massage lotion candles

Question
I am a massage therapist and new candle creator, I would like to make my own massage lotion candles...can you tell me what ingredients I need?  Thanks for your help

Answer
Hi Nancy,
Before you pour hot wax on anyone, please research this subject thoroughly and make sure you have a product that is safe. Making these types of candles can be a huge liability for you. So, make sure you have plenty of insurance before you do this. Pouring hot wax on someones skin can be tricky. You'll need to make sure your fragrance is skin safe as well as your wax's. I've know a few people that have allergies to soy and paraffins. However, if you want to make these, the ingredients soy wax, skin safe fragrance oil and a wick.
