| Comment | This was one of the most detailed responses I have ever received. Indeed, I have alot of options to try in re: to the Cold/Wet/Rainy situation with my little one, Cookie. Actually, I thought of a solution on my own today: I took Cookie outside when it was still Raining and showed her the treat I had in my hand. She Sniffed at it vigourously, and then I spoke out the command for elimnation. She paced a bit (and for awhile) in her spot in the backyard and when she seemed confused or distracted by the weather, I kept calling her over to me to smell the treat. And guess what?: SUCCESS! While I realize that this is only the beginning of re-training her to eliminate during the Cold/Wet/Rainy season here on the Prairies, I am certain that with alot of patience, love, cuddles and wet skin (or fur coats), she will comply and have her fill of treats. Wish me luck and Thank-you Alan again for the timely advice/directions. It has helped me to sort-out the fog in the clouds of elimnation training. Best Wishes from Tina & Cookie (Pee-Princess?) :-) | ||

I will answer all questions about canine behavior and training, training methods and equipment. Be ready to provide dog's name, age, sex, breed and how long you have owned the dog. In addition, it'd be great for me to know how long the problem has been occurring, what you have tried to solve the problem(s) and what were the results.
The more information you provide me - the better equipped I will be to offer sound, helpful advice! Thank you.
