Could it be that you dog's eyesight is failing? A similar thing happened to my 10 month old Labradoodle and then a few weeks later his sight had gone - I can only guess he was confused and scared because his sight was gradually getting worse. I do hope this is not the reason, but might be worth getting it checked out. All the very best, Becky.
