I would like to answer Susan's question about "nosing". Every once in a while my Dog will nose his food or a bone. His nose will be few inches in front of an object, and he will slide he nose along the carpet toward the object. To me it looks like he is trying to bury it- so my belief is that he is telling me that it smells, or that he does not like it.
