Car Alarms/2007 Camry Remote Start blowing fuses

Question
I have had a remote start installed on my wifes car and it has died on her twice after attempting to use the winshield wipers. Have you seen this issue before? i am thinking of just having it removed.

Answer
That's a new one on me. I would take it back
to your installer for repair. It sounds as if
the wipers are getting a constant source of 12 volts
and since it's a new car, he was the one that
caused it. If not this installer,
at least take it to someone else to fix it
before yanking the remote start out of it
alltogether.

Could be a small problem that needs just
needs a wiring re-alignment.

Let me know what you discover.
