Question
Hi i have a vauxhall astra yr 2003 and the car alarm has been going on on its own. i unlock it and lock it back but still after few minutes it goes on again. i do not know what the problem is and would like your assistance. thanks

Answer
The alarm may be detecting an open circuit and reporting
same. This is usually from a spike or battery drain, like
a door/dome light, or trunk/bonnet light as well.
I am not familier with your vehicle, but those are
the likely reasons.

If you have an impact or vibration sensor, you may want
to look into turning it down or off if you do not
discover a power source on anywhere after the doors close
for the time period you specified.

I hope this can help.
