Question I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado (Reg. Cab, 2WD, fleetside), and I have had my gas siphoned off at least 3 times recently. This morning, they left me on empty! I want something to deter these guys. I had a locking gas cap, but it made my check engine light come on, so went back to the non-locking. Thanks for your help.
Answer The only thing I would do here is to
place a pin switch trigger on
the fuel door. If it it pulled
open, it would set off a car alarm system
you would install with a loud siren.
