Expert: ALARMTEK - 10/25/2009

Question
HI I have a 97 buick lesaber and recently somebody broke in it and messed up the steering column had that replaced but car still doesn't start. what do I need to do?

Answer
Your Vehicle Has The Original VATS-PASSLOCK 1
Immobilizer system.

The IB-IM-PLJX Bypass kit is going to be
needed to get around this safely.

It matches the resistance level in the key switch
and allows for the fuel rail to engage with any key
you choose to use. See details on the site.

I wish there was an easy way to magically get it to
work without it, but this is what we have available
short of paying GM a bunch of cash to reset
a system that will likely need it again, and again.
That's if you can locate a GM service dept.
in the next couple of years! :>(

Any good technician can install this item in less then an hour.
Take it to a reputable stereo, car alarm/remote starter installer,
or we can guide you through it here once purchased.

In stock and ready to ship.

When ready, click or copy, cut n paste
the link below that best fits your situation:

If the vehicle's engine tries to crank, but does NOT engage/
turn over. You will need both the bypass kit, and
the relay application to get it started and bypassed
for good. This option is 79.95

HOWEVER...

If your vehicle's engine can start, even after waiting 10 minutes
before it will crank over on it's own, you need the PLJX bypass kit
by itself. 69.95.

The notes will follow shortly after payment is received for
your bypass project, and the product will ship within
24 hours by Priority mail.
