Question I have a 2001 Mercury Villager that has an alarm problem. The horn blows, all the lights flash, & it will not crank. I have pulled the fuse so it will stop but now none of my inside lights work, power windows & power locks don't work. It did not come with a keyless entry so what do I need to do?
Answer The Ford PATS system is in long tamper mode.
You need to have the 2 original keys and get the PKFM bypass kit
from my site at www.FORDPATS.com to get rid of this
pesky issue. Or, go to Ford and have then futz with it, (& you!)
Good luck
