Question
I had a Viper 5101 Remote Start System installed on my 2004 Grand Prix GT two weeks ago by Best Buy and since then I have been back to Best Buy three times to service it. I originally took the vehicle back for servicing because their is a message showing in the Driver's Information Center (DIC) saying "Service Theft System" and once I took it back for that, they thought they fixed it and it came on a few hours later. Then, the remote start began to not function. The car will start and run for about 10 seconds, then cuts off, automatically tries tot restart twice, but does not continue to run. The "Service Theft System" message is also still displaying and no one can figure out why, nor can we find the answer to the cutting off of the engine. PLEASE tell me there is an answer for this! The system worked fine the first week as far as not cutting off, the only problem was the message. Now it starts and stays running like ever other use of the remote, and always shows the message. Please help!!
