Car Alarms/Silencer Model 5911

Question
Hello, I bought a used car from a dealer and it has a Silencer model 5911 security system.  I would like to get a users manual.  It seems to be acting inconsistently and I realized if my factory remote battery dies, I cannot deactivate the alarm and the car is disabled until I show up with a new remote battery.
It appears to have a female plug receptacle under the dash with the red flashing light.  Need to understand how this thing works.
Thanks in advance,  Greg in Florida
