Question I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty and the car alarm goes of all the time. It will do it 4-5 times in a couple of days and then wont do it again for a month or so. I thought it was a few things like parking to close to one of the bushes that could rub up against it and I was told to change out the batteries in the key chain. But nothing is working. Why would it just go off when no one is around it?
Answer Please be more descriptive if possible.
"GOING OFF?"
I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.
Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY
Or,
is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET
