Question While working on installing a new Nav system (alarm off). The Alarm chirped once and cut off the ignition. Vehicle will not start, I tried resetting alarm and nothing.
System must have reset, alarm on/off chirp is different but, ignition still isn;t working.
How can I reset alarm system and re-engage ignition cutoff??
Answer Hmmmm,
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:
KEY ON JUST BEFORE CRANKING ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE
FROM THE ALARM.
KEY OFF.
This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.
If toggle type switch.
KEY ON, FLIP SWITCH, KEY OFF,
START THE CAR.
