Car Alarms - my remote start is stopping the car from starting

Expert: ALARMTEK - 7/3/2009

Question
I have a scytek remote starter.  the other day after being in the house for a hour i came back out and the car would not start on my 2004 ford explorer.  i tried to jump it but only the lights will come on . the battery is charged and the starter is good.the red light on the alarm is blinking very fast.  the car will not try to turn over at all. i looked for a reset button but could not find one

Answer
Check the antenna placed on the windshield. This houses the valet
switch if there is not one under the dash.

KEY ON, PRESS AND HOLD THE BUTTON IN UNTIL
YOU GET A CHIRP AND A LIGHT FLASH.

KEY OFF= OVER RIDE. REPEAT THESE STEPS
TO GO BACK INTO USER MODE.

DONE.

Good luck.
