Expert: ALARMTEK - 10/6/2010

Question
I had lost my original key and keyless entry system to my car so another key was ordered with a keyless entry system but was not linked up with the car yet so i was only using the key to enter and run the car. Then the original key and keyless entry system was found and my 18 month old got ahold of it and pressed the red alarm button and the alarm started going off so I took it away and pushed the red alarm button to turn the alarm off. Then the next day the second key that was ordered was used to unlock the driver side door and the alarm started going off ( which hadnt happend in the previous 2 months i had been using it) Does it have anything to do with my child hitting the alarm button on the original keyless entry system? PLEASE HELP
