Expert: ALARMTEK - 10/25/2010

I'm a frustrated DIY guy with the above combo.  I can not get the alarm to "hold" a program setting.  Go through the program procedure, then try to exit and get a horn+siren chirp and the change doesn't hold.  Trying to set arm/disarm to silent.  Had one case where I programed it, tried it and it worked until the program sequence timed out, got the horn/siren and no longer had the change I wanted.  Also sometimes getting auto alarm but didn't try to set it this way.  Ready to toss this one and get a more reliable unit.

Sorry about this, but legally prescribed.
