Car Alarms/Silencer Alarm Constantly ReArms Itself

Question
I have a 2003 PT Cruiser that had a Silencer alarm installed by the dealership.  Unfortunately, the alarm continuously rearms itself - ie the horn beeps every couple of minutes (two short beeps) saying that the alarm is armed.
I have used the valet key to disable the alarm to keep the horn from beeping.  I now live nowhere near the original dealer and the local dealer does not know anything about the installed alarm.

Is there any way I can fix this by myself?
