Expert: ALARMTEK - 10/19/2010

I have a Galaxy 5000rs alarm w/ remote start on a 1999 Nissan Sentra (auto trans).  The alarm goes off (lights flashing, horn sounding) periodically when I unlock the car with my fob.  One time I was able to reset the alarm using the valet button and turning the ignition key to 'on'.  Now that isn't working.  It won't reset and I can't start the car.  Any ideas on how to fix?  I wish I know WHY it was happening in the first place.

The procedure is key on, press and hold the valet,
key off.

If not working, you might have to unplug the brain box, wait
a few secs., then re plug and try to again.

If no joy at that point, You may have to go in and
remove/replace it.
