Expert: ALARMTEK - 10/24/2010

Question
when i push the remote start option on the remote the 08 jeep grand cherokee will start and run for about ten seconds three times and then nothing.   what should i do to correct this issue?      thank you for the help.

A couple of things to check on this.
Fisrt is the transponder bypass for the ignition fuel rail cutoff
must be done properly using the proper bypass kit (IM06 bypass module
from ALARMTEK is required).

Next if this has been accomplished and still not starting,
take it out of tachless mode if in it and then
attach the tach wire and "teach" the remote starter
to read and learn the Tach signal, then try to remote
start it then. (may have to power down the Nustart system
for the new set up to take hold.)

After all of this is done and it still has not corrected
itself, then you need to visit a technician to evaluate
the issues.
