QUESTION: I have recently installed a ford factory remote start/ keyless entry already on the truck. The truck is a 2007 f150 ext cab xlt. when I try to remote start the security light goes out and tries to start with no crank and beeps twice. when i put the key in the ignition and try to start same thing happens but it trys to start 4 times and then shuts down. I think this might have something to do with the doors and factory alarm arm and disarm, could you please shed some light on this issue.

ANSWER: I have never heard of a "ford factory remote start/ keyless".
Please clarify what that means.

Did you install a remote starter or,
did it come with one already installed when
you bought it?

There are many different remote starters on the market out there,
so my first question is what you have and which bypass kit is
installed and did it program? Another one is did you
attach the factory disarm wire and also learn the tach mode?

All of these need good answers before it would remote start and
even if you have the correct equipment.

I need you to clear this info up.

QUESTION: I installed a ford oem silver edition #2w7z-19g364ba kit, also purchased ford bypass kit #8l3z-19g365ba. The bypass kit seem to program  because it got that far. Although the door locks are not working with new key fob. attached the disarm input but not the factory disarm. the instructions told me to attach this disarm, but reading further found the direction in written form to attach factory disarm. do i attach both wires or just the factory disarm.
