Expert: ALARMTEK - 11/15/2010

Question
i am a professional auto technician, customer brought in his 04 chevy truck in with an ungo alarm. he said he replaced the battery in the key fob, now nothing about the system works, no arming, remote starting, lights flashing, etc. is there a reset that needs to be performed after battery replacement? the system was working perfectly before the fob battery died. is this something i can do in my shop or does it have to go to an ungo dealer?
