Question
My 98 rodeo alarm sounds for no apparent reason. sounds within minutes of being set. When I turn it off I get 2 quick beeps. Can't seem to find any unusual current draw. What's up with that? Thanks for your time jerry

Answer
There is an open circuit, the alarm is reading it and
reporting same. This means the dome light or something
else with current is on.

Check all door pins, and dome light to be certain
all are in working condition.

The alarm is actually doing it's job.

Track down the open circuit to correct the issue.
