Question
The alarm has been acting crazy for sometime. First it comes on randomly, second it comes on while I am driving, third, I woke one morning and the sound just stopped and lastly it activates if I pick up the keys/with the alarm. I opens and unlocks the doors, but no sound.
Probably a badly grounded wire or a
cascade malfunction from the Checkmate.
Trouble there is you need to take it out and
you'll likely need it done soon.
The company that made your system is not in business any longer,
so no service or support for the equipment is going to be found.
The best idea is to remove/repair & replace.
Sorry, but just leaving it be will make it
worse soon. :>(
