Question
I just purchased a 2002 Honda Accord SE without a remote access.  When I lock the car I can only reopen the car from the passenger side door without the alarm going off.  What do I do? Or how do I determine what kind of alarm it is?  When the alarm goes off the horn blows only.  Thank you.

Answer
The drivers door is damaged sir.
Please have this inspected for wiring
integrity at a Honda dealership since this is a factory issue.
It may cost a service fee to inspect it, but it appears
that the factory disarm trigger wire in the drivers
door is either misconnected or not seeing the
disarm signal at all.

All thigs being equal, that's the stick out issue in
my mind on this. Have this done ASAP.

Good luck.
