Expert: ALARMTEK - 6/28/2010

Question
We have a Honda CRV (1997) and the car battery died. We just replaced the car battery and it runs like a charm. However, now our horn beeps several times each time we start up the car (the horn is connected to our alarm system). We think we have pressed the button behind the alarm's blinking light upon start up to reset, but it doesn't seem to work..Are there any other ways to silence the horn upon start up?

Hmmmm,
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

PUT IGNITION KEY IN IGNITION,
KEY ON TO JUST BEFORE CRANKING THE ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD VALET SWITCH
UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE
FROM THE ALARM.

KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.

I hope this solved it for you.
If not. look forward to removal/replacement
or repair.
