Question
Why is there a red blinking light on top of dash, under windshield that blinks at night? Is this part of my alarm system on this 2009 hyundai sonata?

Answer
Yes it is.
  It is a light that is engaged when you lock the doors.

Contact your local Hyundai dealership for clarity
on they're accessories and what they do.
They should be able to explain the security and
what it does so you can better use it.
