Expert: ALARMTEK - 7/25/2010

The battery died yesterday in my 1997 Nissan Pathfinder, i have since charged the battery but now every time i connect it back up to the engine the anti-theft horn sounds and i have no idea how to turn it off. To the best of my knowledge this is a factory alarm and not an aftermarket one. Any suggestions?

This system depends on the physical action
of the door lock locking and unlocking-arming and disarming.
If you have a factory remote, that would do this to
specifications. If no remote, the only way to disarm would
be to use your key in the door lock, turn far left to
disarm it, and far right to unlock and disarm it.

If this has a siren, then you might be able
to locate an override switch, if not that's
the only way I know of to disarm it.
