Expert: ALARMTEK - 7/10/2010

My 97 Toyota Avalon alarm is going off out of the blue. I dont have the entry key to shut it off...and i dont even know it has alarm. The car was broken into once and alarm didn't even go off. When the alarm goes off, the headlights stays on and it is does not sound like a car horn, it sounds more like an alarm clock. The sound stays at a high pitch and doesn't change. I was told that it is not a factory alarm, but above the red light indicator it says Toyota Security. I don't have much money to take this to Toyota dealer so please help and let me know what i can do to get rid of the unwanted noise. Thanks!
