Question
I believe someone attempted to steal my Buick Rendezvous (2004). now I can not get my key into the ignition. It looks like something inside is raised...is this an anti theft deterrant or something else? And how much can I expect for repair? Thanks!
Well, that's bad considering this has the
GM PASSKEY 3 system, and if broken, can set you back
a bit of cash to have it repaired.
If someone busted the key cylinder, there is nothing
you can do to repair and resynch the system to the
keys again. Call AAA & tow er' in.
If it's me, I would contact Buick today for an inspection/
evaluation & repair. That's going to be the best,
most expeditious idea at this point. :>|
