Expert: ALARMTEK - 7/14/2010

Hi
i bought a toyota camry (1998 model) a year back.
the guy i bought it from had an alarm system installed in it - im not sure if it came with it, or was installed later

but today, the remote just stopped working for this alarm - i know if i try to open the car manually, the alarm will go off, because the LED light is blinking in the car.

Ive already changed the battery for the remote and that didnt work, some im kinda stumped. i dont know how to turn it off - i know it has an on/off type valet switch though

Hmmmm,
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

PUT IGNITION KEY IN IGNITION,
KEY ON TO JUST BEFORE CRANKING THE ENGINE.

FLIP SWITCH IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION.
KEY OFF.
THEN START THE CAR.
