Expert: ALARMTEK - 7/21/2010

Question
My car battery died recently. When we got the car running again the alarm wouldn't work. Don't know if that's coincidence. Anyways, it's an aftermarket Silencer remote and I can't find anywhere how to reprogram it. The light on the remote turns on when I push the lock/unlock buttons, but no response from the car. I've talked to dealerships, auto stores, alarm stores and searched online with no luck. Do you know the instructions for reprogramming? Or is it the car?
