Expert: ALARMTEK - 7/18/2010

Question
I have an Audiovox APS787a - Prestige Platinum Plus Remote Start/Alarm Combo. When I disarm the alarm system on my truck it deactivates but then reactivates after about 30 seconds. The ignition key is on, I'm driving and it still remotely sets itself. I've had this alarm installed about 2 yrs ago and have never had a problem. I tried putting it into valet mode, but that doesn't work. It seems like it doesn't recognize any other functions except arm and disarm from the transmitter. Can you please help? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The "passive to active" feature setting procedure
would only be found in the manual for the alarm.
I don't know the system you have there, but try my forum

bar if there might be a past thread on
it, and where to download a copy of the manual.

If nothing pops up in the search, ask my forum moderator Robert
to see if he has a line on it for you.

Then you can figure out the toglling procedure
to turn of the passive arming function.
