Question
I have a 2000 chevy camaro with an after stock prestige car alarm. I
went to start my car today and all the electrical would go on but my car
would not start. I tried the valet switch and it didn't work. But my alarm
is going haywire and now my whole car is dead

Put the Prestige into override using
the valet switch installed. This
would then discount this part of the alarm
systems in this car. (1 less thing.)
The procedure should be key on, press and hold Valet
button until the alarm chirps, key off= OVERRIDE.
Then try it. If the engine will not turn over,
it may be the factory security system/VATS
that is doing this.
If this is the trouble, go to www.GMVATS.com
and see your options for a perm.
bypass for it.
I hope it's just the Prestige alarm
giving you trouble. The other will require
some equipment installation and labor. :>(
