Question
1997 Buick Century w/Executive 3000.  Ok I tried the valet button and the diode light went solid but the car still will not crank.  What else can I try?

Answer
This would then discount the Executive as being the trouble.

Now we move onto the VATS/PASSLOCK system in the Buick,
shutting down the fuel rail system. If this is in
shut down mode, then you will need a bypass kit & relays
to bring it back up so it starts every time
with a store bought key, and keep it regulated & inert.
