Question
I just had the dealer install a car alarm. When I tried to open the trunk with the button on the fob it didn't work,now the dealer is saying that the alarm does not have that feature. Is there an alarm for the 2010 Corolla that does have this feature.
Yes ma'am I have several that have the disignated button to
do trunk release. From what it sounds like though, whomever
installed it, probably could have included that after market
feature by simply installing 1 wire to the proper
place. They may charge a bit extra for it, but dooable.
If your remote has the capability, and they simply did
not install that part of it, I'd ask them to complete the
work to include it.
