Expert: ALARMTEK - 9/9/2010

Question
My '89 Corvette has a dealer installed GM security system VSS-300. The system passively alarms correctly but it only disarms via the remote and the remote has stopped functioning. Are these remotes still available? Can one be built with this frequency with the FCC ID number? Thanks for your help.
