Expert: ALARMTEK - 9/1/2010

Question
I have a 1996 honda accord that has a Chapman alarm system installed, I assume by the original owner, and when it’s hot outside and the car sits in the sun, the car doesn’t start. Normally, i open the car with the key fob and put the key in the ignition and it starts. When it’s hotand in the sun, it won’t crank. All it has to do is be out of the sun for a while, like overnight and then it will start immediately.  

I know it sounds strange but it’s happened quite a few times and that is what i determined is the problem.

Any help you can suggest would be greatly appreciated

Odd, since there is no temp sensor on this alarm.
