Expert: ALARMTEK - 9/9/2010

Question
I purchased a 2006 Mercury Marquee that came preinstalled with a Silencer alarm.  Never used alarm.  When battery was changed the starter function was deactivated and finally figured out it was the alarm.  I want to turn the alarm off (right now I have to deactivate the alarm to start the car by pressing Silencer remote button every time).  Couldn't find any valet switch under dash(maybe just need to look harder or someplace else?).  Light on dash has always been blinking since I bought car. Don't know model of alarm, but on the back of the remote switch it says REV.B FCC ID:H5OT25.  Any help would be appreciated.  Wouldn'y mind keeping alarm if I knew how to turn the darn thing off and on.  Thanks
