Expert: ALARMTEK - 10/26/2011

Question
I have the Pursuit Series PROOE4BS installed in my 2003 Monte Carlo.  I lost my pervious remote start transmitter.  I purchased the new one from Audiovox.  It came with no programming on how to start. soo I searched online found some that say to put car in ON position, push the valet button three times. It says the "dash mounted led" will blink 1x.  I did this process but do not see where a blinking light is on the dash??  Nor does the horn or lights blink?  Do you have any solutions or was the online direction i found incorrect on how to program this device?
