Car Alarms/Automate RPN491 in '99 Jeep Cherokee

Question
I bought my '99 Jeep Cherokee 1 year ago.  The first time the alarm went off, I disabled it using the button under the dash.  The alarm light went out and stayed that way for a year - just the way I liked it.  Suddenly, today, like the Terminator, the thing came back to life and has gone off a couple of times, scaring the socks off of people and creating a nuisance.  I want to disable it.  How do I do that?

P.S. - It seems impossible to find any information online about this particular car alarm.  Please help!

Please, if you would, restate this question

with this project. (ask for Robert!)

This is a DEI product, and he's your man

Good luck there.
