Car Alarms/Checkmate - set full time 'NO CHIRP'

Question
I just bought a 2002 Corolla with a Checkmate KD-200PC aftermarket alarm system. Under 'standard system features', the manual lists 'Select full time siren 'CHIRP' or 'NO CHIRP'. I want to select full time siren 'NO CHIRP' -- ONLY flashing lights with NO siren when arming / disarming the system -- but the manual doesn't give instructions for that, only for a single 'NO CHIRP' cycle using the remote's 'A' button before arming / disarming. How do I set to full time 'NO CHIRP'? Many thanks in advance for your help with this.
