QUESTION: What does the term instant start trigger input mean on a remote start kit by autopage. The model i'm working with is an RS-725.

ANSWER: This unit could likely be added to an AUX output for another
control system like an alarm or keyless entry.

Use it a slave to the other.

QUESTION: the only problem im running into is that the whole thing is a remote start and keyless entry. i had to put in a two wire door trigger because my car lacks power locks. this being said where would i put it. if not needed i can remove from the harness.

You would need to actually add a door lock
actuator, the a relay off of the unlock input
attach the wire to pin 86 of that relay and then
set the polarity up depending on
what the input trigger is on the device you
are attempting to control, ergo: the input
on a remote slave start unit.
