Question
When my wife an I purchased our 2005 dodge Magnum it had a Viper Alarm/Remote Start installed. Our remote got broken and while looking for a replacement we came across the newer model 5901. We would like to change the older system out for the new one for several reasons but mainly because (don't laugh) we like the newer remotes. My question is, How much different are the connections on the new unit versus the old? Can I just use the same wiring harness or at least trace all the old connections and make it easier to do myself? Thanks for your advice.
