Question
I just installed a prestige aps25c in a 2006 kia rio along with door actuators. My problem is that the system will not arm. If I hit the lock/arm button on the fob it does nothing. If I hit the unlock/disarm button on the fob the siren chirps and the actuators unlock the car. Please help!
It's obviously wired incorrectly.
Check the following.
POWER (constant)
IGNITION (switched with key)
ALL GROUND POINTS you made,
and the wire going to the relays for the
after market actuator.
Sounds as if
you may have a misconnect.
If you used T taps, make sure
the crimp is right, and the connection
solid when the blade connector snapped
into the slot.
