how can i sync my autostart for my 2002 mercury sable? it seems to have stopped working suddenly. i know you have to put two remotes together and press certain buttons. hope you can help.

That's the trouble with this site. People think I am the
expert on EVERYTHING related to the subject.
I am NOT.

In fact, as you mentioned, I placed the disclaimer clearly
that I don't do programming.

It is NOT a big part of what I do. Several people have made
it an industry online. I did not. I advise now &
stick to what I do, and have done now for 39 years.
Install car alarms, keyless entry and remote starters.

Not programming remotes.

My expertise is installation. Remotes come pre programmed
to every unit prior to me getting to it.
Programming methods are different from manufacturer
to manufacturer and there is no way to tell one from
the other unless you have a database for that.

I do NOT.

So thanks for the 10's, I am sure that you meant 1's from
the latter part of the rating you wrote, but it does not change the
facts, on what I will and won't offer here as a volunteer,
or even what I will specialize in or won't.
It probably won't even get me ejected as an expert here since
98% of the folks I help are happy, and say so with their own
favorable ratings.

I have been an Expert here since 2003, so I guess the ALL EXPERTS
people see value in my ability to advise, even if you don't.

This was simply a platform for you to rant from,
and that's fine as long as a civil rebuttle is
excepted as well. Next time, please read the site
information prior to the question to be certain
you will get the answers you are looking for.
