Expert: ALARMTEK - 5/17/2011

Question
Have recently purchased a Nissan pathfinder with a steelmate alarm and central locking system. And i am wondering if it is likely to incorporate a engine immobaliser as well? Because my car will turn over and has spark but wont fire, i am wondering if its a fuel problem or an immobaliser that is malfunctioning. Is there an easy way to disable it in order to test if that is the problem before i go pulling the tank apart to find the fuel pump.
any suggestions would be great, thanks.
