Expert: ALARMTEK - 6/10/2011

Question
96 corolla had security disconnected when purchased. So we thought.
Has champion security box in it. When battery cables were disconnected and reinstalled this caused ignition to do various...sometimes nothing...sometimes weak current to starter solenoid and sometimes it starts perfectly. Battery is good and had a new starter installed.
Disconnected the red plug (power?)cable to the champion box and now car starts most of the time okay . Not sure if its going to not start the next time we go.?  It had a remote disconnect switch but doesn't seem to work and it had a toggle switch and a black push button switch mounted under the dash.  One wire to the little dash lite is broken off.  One wire White/black is not connected to anything from the champion box. Can't find anything about champion on the internet?
