Expert: ALARMTEK - 7/21/2011

Question
I have a 2003 Honda Civic LX with an Executive Keyless Entry & Security Model One v1.3 alarm system. I recently bought an extra remote for the alarm system. I programmed it by turning the ignition to "On" and pressing the valet switch 5 times, pressing the lock button on the new remote, then pressing the lock button on the original remote. Both remotes now work, but every time I turn the ignition to "Start" the alarm chirps rapidly for several seconds. It never did so before. How do I fix it so doesn't chirp when starting the vehicle?
