Car Alarms/Disconnect Viper Alarm-HELP

Question
Have a 99 GMC Silverado pickup- with a viper car alarm. My son lost the Viper remote but before that the alarm had not been working properly due to I think the battery dieing in the alarm.
BUT NOW he has lost the remote and everytime you go to start the truck with the actual car key the alarm goes off and continues to go off. Can you help me just get it disconnected until I can afford to do something else.(I am the mom so NOT very knowledgeable about all this stuff)just really need help!
