Question
i have a 98 chevrolet 1500 series.truck was running fine but the alarm for no reason would start sounding so i pulled off a wire to disconnect it but after that it would not start so i hooked the wire back up and it still wont start. If you could please help i would really appreciate it

Answer
Hard to say what you did from where I'm sitting.
May want to take it to a car alarm installer
(yes I know it won't start. May have to tow it.
Remember, YOU did this to it, so you can't complain
too much about having to tow it if they won't
come to you for repair.)

And have it evaluated/repaired/reset
so you can start it.

Not certain if it's after market or not.
Did it have a siren? Is this the "wire"
you pulled off? To stop the sound?
